Creativity is an Unlimited Power

Parrot & Toucan
The project was an independent study piece. I chose to do birds in a forest environment. I focused on the study of colors and textures because at the time I struggled with texture and how to experiment with the different paint brushes in Procreate. I learned that you have to be creative and experimental with the brushes you choose because you never know what kind of texture detail you discover.

The project focuses limiting/challenging yourself to one color/hue, one animal & one place. I got a turtle in a sunken ship and the hue of blue. My biggest challenge was using the different hue/shade of blue to put out the lighter colors. My most successful element of the composition is the usage of depth and dimension.

Hummingbird &
Butterfly Hybrid
The project focuses on my alter ego character. In real life, I am a shy and quiet person so my alter ego is a extroverted and elegent character. I researched and discovered that a hummingbird and butterfly match this personality so I created a hybrid of both living beings.
